The AVR-5805CI is the third version of the famed AVR-5805 series enhancing it even further with more features and functions. It continues the cutting-edge innovations and functionality without sacrificing performance. With its ground-breaking multi-room flexibility, the AVR-5805CI delivers staggeringly intense, dynamic home theater sound for up to four different sources in four different rooms simultaneously. The astounding 170-watts x 10 channels of ultra-clean power and exclusive THX® Ultra2 processing offered by the AVR-5805CI, allows the best possible use of all your speakers with the widest variety of entertainment sources.
Added to the AVR-5805CI is the exciting XM Radio ready capability. Connecting the commercially available plug-n-play antenna and activating your XM Radio subscription will allow you to receive dozens of digitally broadcast stations from many areas. The Audyssey calibration system has now been upgraded to be Audyssey MultEQ XT Pro installer ready. A certified Denon/Audyssey installer can calibrate a home theater for up to 32 listening position calibration points. Addition EQ curves are also available when calibrated through your certified Denon/Audyssey pro installer. The remote control has also been updated with our latest version of EL learning technology for ease of use.
To enhance the home theater HD viewing experience, the AVR-5805CI allows for easy viewing of multiple HD sources with 1080p HDMI switching. This lets high end players like Denon''s DVD-5910CI, DVD-3939CI or DVD-2930CI models, HD or Blu-Ray players, or set top boxes with high definition digital signals to be switched and output through the HDMI monitor output port. Enabled with analog to HDMI video conversion in conjunction with the Faroudja video scalar for non-Macrovision analog video sources, analog video can be scaled to 1080p and output through the HDMI monitor port for further video switching convenience. Analog to HDMI video conversion also allows OSD information to be displayed from most video sources. Internet radio capability lets you listen to hundreds of possible sources through the Ethernet port on the AVR-5805CI, using Windows PlaysForSure certified for streaming technology, enabling you to control your audio files through a P.C. Web browsing for setup and control has also been included for added versatility.
