We'll get to watts per channel and other fun features in a moment, but first you should know what really makes a Denon receiver something to write home about. The engineers at Denon go out of their way to make sure every Denon receiver delivers the absolute best sound. The AVR-1705 is certainly no exception. Its chassis is designed to absorb vibration, supporting its large transformer inside a highly rigid frame to secure it more solidly. In addition, a cushioning material is used around the core of the transformer to minimize interference on the signal and allow more faithful reproduction of the original sound.
