The AVR-488 5.1 receiver features a powerful 75 watts per channel (x 5 channels), and includes comprehensive high definition video signal switching capability, including 2 HDMI v1.3a video inputs and 1 HDMI v1.3a video output, along with 3 wideband component video inputs to handle all of your favorite sources. The precision 32 bit surround processor includes the latest surround decoding technologies, including Dolby Digital 5.1, Dolby Pro Logic II, as well as DTS 5.1 and DTS Neo6 formats, to extract the maximum fidelity from DVDs, HD broadcasts, music CDs and high definition Blu-ray soundtracks. The included Boston Acoustics Horizon MCS 100 5.1 channel speaker system features matched front, center and surround speakers for even tonal balance and fidelity across all channels, and the subwoofer features a high output, down-firing 8 (in.)  driver paired with a powerful 100 watts amplifier.
