Transmitter: The headset comes with an RF transmitter that connects to your source via a headphone jack or preamp outputs. It sends out a strong 900 MHz RF signal to the headset, using one of three selectable transmission channels. The transmitter starts sending the RF signals automatically, when it detects a signal from the connected source. If the transmitter does not sense audio input for approximately 4 minutes, it stops sending RF signals, and the power indicator turns off. In addition, the transmitter is used to recharge the headset's built-in NiCad rechargeable battery.
Built-in NiCad Rechargeable Battery: Power for the headset is provided by a built-in rechargeable NiCad battery, giving you approximately 23 hours of use when fully charged. Note: Since this battery is built-in, it cannot be replaced.
Range: Depending on conditions, the headset has a maximum range of 150 feet.
Tuning: A tuning button is built into the headset, so you can adjust the reception of the headphones to match the frequency of the transmitter precisely.
